Taylor Swift: Singer Joining ‘The Voice’ Season Seven As Advisor

Taylor Swift, 24, reportedly signed on for a role with The Voice! The “Shake It Off” singer will allegedly be joining the upcoming seventh season as an advisor — she’ll assist contestants across all four teams.

Taylor, whom I like to refer to as T-Swizzle, will be working with veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, along with rookies Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, who were added to the panel for the upcoming season.

“Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with,” a source told Us Weekly. “She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor.”

A source also tells HollywoodLife.comexclusively that Taylor will be performingon the NBC competition series as well

Taylor’s last appearance on The Voiceoccurred during season four on June 3, 2013, when she surprised contestantMichelle Chamuel in rehearsal. (She’s so sweet!)

‘The Voice’ Season 7: Details

Aside from Taylor, season seven advisers include Stevie Wonder (who is working with Adam’s team), Gavin Rossdale (who is working with his wife’s team), Little Big Town (who is working with Blake’s team), and Alicia Keys (who is working with Pharrell’s team).

Taylor’s role will mirror that of Coldplaysinger Chris Martin, who also assisted contestants across all four teams during season six.

Season seven of The Voice premieres on Sept. 22, one month before Taylor’s upcoming fifth studio album, 1989, is released on Oct. 27.
